The Restless Sands

The Restless Sands is an event found in the Stinging Winds, in Act II. It is issued by Mehtan the Necromancer. Mehtan is said to be an apprentice of the Necromancer from Diablo II.

The player is tasked with clicking on two shrine-like obelisks called Deathly Haunts, which summon Undead. After the second group of monsters have been slain, Mehtan pauses before a superunique pack of Pain Mongers and cultists attack him. Once dispatched, the event is over, and the rewards are given.

In addition, the player will receive the Lore Book Necromancer's Log once Mehtan has finished speaking.
