Reign of the Black King Walkthrough

Use the Waypoint in town to head down to the Cathedral Garden and straight into Leoric's Passage. Once there go through the Ornate Door to the level 2 of the Cathedral. You'll meet Tomb Guardians, Skeletons and Unburied in this level. Nothing you haven't come across before.

On level 3 you'll immediately run into a pack of Dark Cultists performing a ritual on some poor mug who seems powerless to resist. The cultists will raise Necromantic Minions but both are easy to get rid of. Talk to now freed Warrior. He'll ask you to help him find his gear, which is pretty close by in a chest.

Objectives in Brief

Use the New Tristram Waypoint to return to the Cathedral Garden
Enter Leoric's Passage and go to the Cathedral level 2 through the Ornate Door. *
Give aid to the Warrior
Find the Warrior's stolen items.
Find and kill Jondar.*
Search the Royal Crypts.*

Find and enter the Crypt of the Skeleton King.*
Kill the Returned.
Place Leoric's Corwn on the Skeleton King.
Kill the Skeleton King.*
Enter the Desolate Chamber and talk to the Stranger.*
Return to New Tristram and talk to Deckard Cain.*

* Checkpoint reached around this stage in the quest. This means you can quit out and Resume your game at a later date and begin at this point - in effect it's a Save Game point.
