The Dank Cellar spawns on the Old Tristram Road between [[The Old Ruins]] and [[New Tristram]]. It is located always in the same place on the first clearing next to the Old Ruins. It's spawning probability is 50%. If the Dank Cellar is not there it is replaced by a barred door. There is no other dungeon that spawns in this area.

Prior to [[Patch 1.0.3]], players often engaged in what were called "Dank Runs", where the player would take the [[waypoint]] or [[checkpoint]] in [[The Old Ruins]], making their way to the Dank Cellar to kill Sarkoth for loot in [[Inferno]] difficulty. They often did this while wearing [[Magic Find]] [[items]] before drops from Superuniques were [[nerf]]ed.

The Dank Cellar is off the Old Tristram Road in Act I. It's s small dungeon but you'll find a unique Quill Fiend by the name of Sarkoth in there.
