Corpse Ash is no longer found in Diablo III.

Corpse Ash is the Nightmare quality legendary material, created by salvaging magical, rare, set, or legendary items found on the Nightmare difficulty.

Corpse Ash is a required material in all set and legendary Nightmare crafting recipes. It can be created by upgrading Petrified Bark, the Normal difficulty legendary material, and can be upgraded into Volcanic Coal once a character reaches Hell difficulty.
