This page provides information on Tormented Stinger[e] mobs.

Tormented Stingers are creatures present in the third act of Diablo III. They are said to be the results of demonic torture of human sacrifices.

Visually, they resemble large (human-sized) scorpions with their tails and pincers poisoned with lethal toxins. However, upon closer look, they turn out to be twisted, sadistically mutilated and literally bent beyond recognition human bodies, constantly experiencing agonizing pain that drives them to madness.

Superunique versions of Tormented Stinger have a chance of spawning in the following areas:

• Crabbs - Tower of the Damned Level 2, Act III
• Scorpitox - Core of Arreat, Act III
• Severclaw - Arreat Crater Level 1, Act III

Diablo I Monster[edit | edit source]

Stingers were seen in Hellfire and also had a similar, even if it was simpler, appearance. The Diablo I version was classified as an Animal, however, as opposed to the Diablo III version which is classified as a Demon.

Diablo II Monster[edit | edit source]

No monster like the Tormented Stinger is seen in Diablo II.
