The Defiled Crypt is located within Act I, below the Cemetery of the Forsaken. There are always three different entrances available out of a possible four. One of the three Crypts will have a second level that leads down to the Chancellor's Tomb. You will fight Manglemaw before entering the Tomb.


The crypt with only one level can also uniquely spawns the Superunique Dataminer who is needed for the Haunted achievement and the two-levelled crypt can spawn Drury Brown and John Gorham Coffin, also required for the Haunted achievement.
