He's in the red robe.

The Cultist Grand Inquisitor is a SuperUnique boss monster first seen in the Halls of Agony, the first dungeon in the BlizzCon 2010 demo. The Torture Chambers of the Mad King quest did not require players to kill the Grand Inquisitor, but killing him was a bonus side-quest, though one without any special reward.

Despite his lofty title, the Grand Inquisitor is just a low level Cultist; one of the melee fighters with a ceremonial dagger for a weapon. He's not one of the higher level Cultist mages or summoners, and is no larger than the others of his type. He's just got a red robe and a fancy name.

The Grand Inquisitor spawned in a random location within the dungeon each game, and could be found protected by a few other melee-fighting Cultists. He was not especially difficult, nor did he stand out very clearly other than by his red cloak, and players sometimes killed him without even realizing they'd found the special boss they were searching for.

Final Game?

It's not known if this boss will appear in the final game, but it seems likely. If so he's sure to be a bigger challenge, and to fill some more important role in the story and plot of Act One than he did in the Blizzcon 2010 demo.
