Tormented Stingers are creatures present in the third act of Diablo III. They are said to be the results of demonic torture of human sacrifices.
Visually, they resemble large (human-sized) scorpions with their tails and pincers poisoned with lethal toxins. However, upon closer look, they turn out to be twisted, sadistically mutilated and literally bent beyond recognition human bodies, constantly experiencing agonizing pain that drives them to madness.

{{iw|Stinger Stingers }} were seen in [[Hellfire]] and also had a similar, even if it was simpler, appearance. The Diablo I version was classified as an Animal, however, as opposed to the Diablo III version which is classified as an Undeada Demon.
