It is accompanied by nine toads, although these do not follow their master if it moves away from the encounter zone. Nine Toads uses the following attack modifiers: [[Jailer]], [[Plagued]]. It can also throw balls of poisonous stuff on you. Nine Toads drops [[The Clipper]]. There is a double reference to the science fiction first-person shooter game Borderlands and its first boss [http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Nine_Toes Nine Toes], who drops an edged pistol called [http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/The_Clipper The Clipper] with the exact same item description. Nine Toads no longer drops the clipper in version 2 of the game.
