The items required to create this object are:{{Staff of herding}}
* One Staff of Herding plan. This plan is only dropped by [[Izual]], a boss found in Act Four, and it's a rare drop. Players will have to [[farm]] him for some time to obtain the plan, which can then be taught to the [[blacksmith]].
Once the plan is learned, these five special items are required to create the Staff of Herding (Having learned the plans is not required for these items to drop).

==Crafting the Staff==
Once the Staff is created, it can be upgraded to the [[Nightmarish Staff of Herding]], [[Hellish Staff of Herding]], or [[Infernal Staff of Herding]] via [[Gorell the Quartermaster]], an NPC merchant found in the town section of [[Bastion's Keep]].
