'''The Restless Sands''' is an [[event]] found in the [[Stinging Winds]], in [[Act II]]. It is issued by [[Mehtan the [[Necromancer]]. Mehtan is said to be an apprentice of the Necromancer from Diablo II.
The player is tasked with clicking on two shrine-like obelisks called ''Deathly Haunts'', which summon [[Undead]]. After the second group of monsters have been slain, Mehtan pauses before a [[superunique]] pack of Pain Mongers and [[cultists]] attack him. Once dispatched, the event is over, and the rewards are given.
