He forms part of the [[The Legacy of Cain]] quest]] He was once a member of the [[Tristram]] Militia, along with [[Captain Rumford]], when he failed to return from a scouting expedition. He was headed towards [[The Old Ruins]] of Old Tristram, and never returned. Well, never returned to Tristram, at least. He resides in  [[Adria]]'s musty basement as a reanimated [[undeadFile:Captain daltyn.jpg|350px|]] mini-[[boss]] for the ''[[Legacy of Cain]]'' quest in [[Act I]].
