Instigation is a rune effect in [[Bash]], a [[Fury]]-generating [[Barbarian skill]].
This rune effect causes each Bash to generate 6 4 additional [[Fury]], for a total of 12 Fury per hit.
==Post-Release Changes==
The v1.0.4 patch[http://diablo.incgamers.com/blog/comments/official-patch-1-0-4-notes/] buffed Bash with increased fury generation and damage. As compensation, the Instigation rune effect was nerfed, with the Fury gain changed from 6 to 4.

* v.1.0.3 Bash + Instigation = 6 + 6 = 12 Fury.
* v.1.0.4 Bash + Instigation = 8 + 4 = 12 Fury.
Thus Instigation remains identical in total Fury generation, but the Fury boost from using this rune dropped from 100% to 50%, making an already unpopular rune virtually irrelevant.
