The Stronghold in [[Bastion's Keep]] is the "town" or "safe" area in [[Diablo III]]. Being inside of the keep during a siege, it is not always the safest place to be: [[Demon Trooper]]s will on occasion burst through the door to the [[Keep Depths]] to engage in battle with the guards.
The Stronghold is where the player returns to when using the [[Town Portal]] in [[Act III]] and also [[Act IV]], and houses [[vendors]] and other assorted [[NPCs]].
