The quest is given by an NPC, the [[Crazed Miner]] who is found near some of the open mining pits in the [[Canyon Rim Mines]] area on teh surface of Act II. The Miner asks a hero to defend him while he raises a chest of gold via a pulley system. If you are successful, you get half the gold.
