Skill tiers were removed shortly before the [[beta]] started in September 2011, and Fan of Knives became a level 4 skill, but was soon bumped up to level 14. The skill system was once again overhauled for the [[Beta Patch 13]], and Fan of Knives was classified as a Defensive skill and moved to level 16. For [[Beta Patch 14]], it was re-classified as a Devices skill and moved to level 17.
