An This rune effect increases the chain potential of the skill by jumping to up to four targets. The full damage and slow effect is imparted to all of them. This is a very powerful rune effect that provides an excellent speed debuff to any type of enemies, and deals deceptively high damage as well. The skill isn't flashy or explosive, and the damage is only 75% of weapon damage, but it guarantees that every shot will hit four targets (if that many are in range) for the full damage, slowing them all considerably. Other popular Hatred generators such as Hungering Arrow or Bolo Shot do more damage per hit, but do not slow and often do not hit 4 enemies with every shot, plus they can be blocked or dodged by enemies. The chain can not be blocked or dodged as most other arrow attacks can be, and the chaining will go around corners or out of the Demon Hunter's line of sight. This is an excellent rune effect for [[Indigo CC]] purposes, and can be mixed into a varied stream of fire, constantly refreshing the slow time and chaining additional enemies. Since the effect does not pierce, the slowed monsters are always in front of the pack, which is also helpful as monsters behind can not get past the slow ones in front.
