Quickening is a skill rune effect in the Monk's [[File:IconFistsThunder.png|leftFists of Thunder]]combo skill. Quickening is enabled at level 42, and increases the Monk'''s [[Fists Spirit]] generation by enabling a gain of Thunder15 Spirit with every [[Critical Hit]]landed while using this attack. The basic attack''' s effectiveness is a not changed by this rune effect; just the Spirit Generator [[generated by it.
