[[Checkpoint]]s are respawn points. Players who die appear back at the last checkpoint they reached.
A Checkpoint occurs just as you get in beyond the gates of the Ruins on [[The Legacy of Cain]] quest, part of which asks you to assist Leah in locating [[Adria's Hut]].
==Waypoint Location==
[[Waypoints]] are special plates on the ground that form a network of jump points allowing players to instantly teleport between.
There is a Waypoint just in front of the gate onto the [[Old Tristram Road]] situated at the east of the ruins.
