===Monk Armor===

In terms of armor, the Monk is set to be just like all of the other characters in the Diablo series (aside from the disavowed {{iw|Monk Hellfire Monk}}, whose defense was boosted in light and penalized in heavy armor). The D3 Monk will wear the heaviest armor possible to achieve the most defense possible, an approach that runs counter to the usual RPG trope. Jay Wilson confirmed this in an October 2009 interview.
