==Customizing the Banner==
[[File:Banner-creation1Screenshot147.jpg|left|thumb|450px|Customization options for the banner.]]
The banner can be customized in a few different ways.
===Banner in-game===
The banner has a function in the game, other than simply looking neat. The player may place their banner on the ground (default hotkey for this is "G"), and it will show up somewhere in the safe area/nearest town that their friend is in. The friend or party member may then click on the banner in order to teleport to that player.
A banner in In the field beta players of any level can be seen use the banner to teleport instantly to the left, placed by another player so in effect a level 1 player. ''You get me magic bannercould teleport to a much higher level area, intentionally or we attack!'' Disclaimer: The presence of the banner does not preclude the appearance of {{iw|Snotspill Snotspill}} in Diablo III.
