[[File:Interface-char-claymorebeta-sml.jpg|left|thumb|300px250px|Character window circa October 2010from the Beta Test.]]Though the Character The character window has been seen in every demo build of changed repeatedly during the game, at Blizzcon in 2008, 2009's development, and 2010there are more changes planed post release. The most recent version is seen to the left, Blizzard has never released in a screenshot of it, nor shown it in any of from the official gameplay movies. (They've shown [http://diablo.incgamers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=525 other interface windows[Diablo III]] repeatedlybeta test.)
The only images of it older photos on this page are those seen in from shaky-cam videos from game conventions. The most recentand photos taken of monitors at various events, and since Blizzard did not release a fairly good view, comes from Blizzcon 2010, and can be seen to the right. This full quality image has been modified; of the unreadably-blurry text has been swapped out with text typed in via photoshopCharacter window during development. This doesn't look as pretty as the in-game image, but at least it's legible(Though other interface windows were frequently displayed. )
Note that there's a lot more info than there was in Diablo II, and that the numbers go to decimal places, presenting the information in far more detail than in earlier games in the series. This window can expand greatly to show more detailed stats on another pane to the right, and that info remains under selection.
