Passive skills replaced [[Traits]] late in game development. Many passives are very similar to previously-known traits, with the main changes coming in changes to the character level requirements, and the fact that passives are on/off, rather than using 1, 3, or 5 points, as Traits did. Characters only get three passive in total, with one slot opening up for a passive at Clvl 10, 20, and 30.


==Witch Doctor Passives==

This list is tentative and based on the beta build. Expect further refinements in the final game.

[[Mana Regeneration]]<br>
Regenerate 2% of maximum [[Mana]] per second.
* Enabled at level: 3


[[Mind and Body]]<br>
Regenerate 20% [[life]] per minute.
* Enabled at level: 3


[[Spiritual Attunement]]<br>
Increase maximum [[Mana]] by 20%.
* Enabled at level: 3


[[Care of the Monster]]<br>
Increase the [[hit points]] of pets by 60%.
* Enabled at level: 6


[[Quickening]]<br>
Increase casting speed by 10%.
* Enabled at level: 6


[[Spirit Vessel]]<br>
[[Health Globes]] provide 10% of maximum [[Mana]] when picked up.

Increases [[attack]] by 20%.

[[Superior Skill]]<br>
Increases [[precision]] by 20%.

[[Expert Defense]]<br>
Increases [[defense]] by 20%.

Increases [[vitality]] by 20%.

[[Death Pact]]<br>
When the Witch Doctor has under 35% hit points, damage taken is reduced by 20%.

Increases damage dealt by [[Zombie Dogs]] by 6%.

[[Ritual of Blood]]<br>
30% of Mana costs for skills is taken from life instead.

Increases pet damage dealt by 40%.

[[Plagued]]<br>
Increases [[Animal]] and [[Plague]] skill damage by 20%.
