Alcarnus is reasonably closely located to the [[Sundered Pass]], from where help has been sent. It was briefly mentioned in the borderlands entry on the official website: ::The town of Alcarnus was quickly established as the center of all mining in the area, with several other smaller settlements springing up in its wake.
