In function, this is a simple modifier. The boss monster imbued with vampirific will heal itself upon successful attack. Melee players and classes with pets will be at an automatic disadvantage when facing off against a vampiric boss, especially when coupled with another nasty modifier such as [[teleportatingteleporting]] or [[Cold Aura]].
