'''Desecrating''' is a [[boss modifier]] in [[Diablo]] III. The exact nature of the modifier is currently unknown, but it appears to imbue the boss with a crackling [[arcane]] energy (which, in Diablo III, is normally represented with the color purple).
As every other [[element]] appears to be present as a boss modifier, it is a fair assumption that it increases the boss' resistance to arcane damage while also increasing its own arcane damage output.
