This skill was first shown at [[BlizzCon 2009]] as one of the originals when the [[Monk]] was unveiled. It wasn't needed in that demo, since the Monk was hugely powerful, but there may be more utility for it in the final game. The whole idea behind skill was not seen afterwards, and apparently underwent a major graphical change, since this spell is screenshot was released in early 2011 showing a protective skill that's thought to make life a little easier for the relatively frail Monkbe Inner Sanctuary.
