Ben Boos, former Senior Artist for Blizzard North, made an interesting comment during an interview with Diii.net back in July 2008. In the interview, he suggests that Jason did programming on the rough game engine for Diablo III back when Blizzard North was still working on the title.<ref>[http://diablo.incgamers.com/blog/comments/the-d2-team-comments-on-d31/ The D2 Team Comments on D3]. 2008-07-08.</ref> After Blizzard North dissolved, Jason became part of the Blizzard Irvine team - becoming one of the few members of the former Diablo II team working on the sequel.
