The Pit Flyer Spawner is a monster known only from a piece of concept art. It has not been seen or confirmed in the game.

~~Pit Flyer Spawners apparently grow and hatch forth~~ [[Pit ~~Flyers~~Flyer]]s have been seen in numerous screenshots from the Act One dungeons, ~~a kind~~ but they are all just free flying monsters; no sign of ~~monster that's assumed to be fairly small and winged. These are thought to work something like~~ the ~~{{iw|Blood_Hawk_Nests Blood Hawk~~ spawners}} have been seen . It's unknown if they'll appear later in ~~Diablo 2~~the game, or if they were just a piece of concept art that never came to fruition.

~~Judging from~~ The spawners look like vegetable versions of the ~~concept art~~{{iw|Blood_Hawk_Nests Blood Hawk spawners}} seen in Diablo 2, as though the ~~Pit Flyer Spawner grows~~ flyers grow on them like melons on a ~~weed, and the Pit Flyer forms on it like some sort of bud or blossom~~vine, ~~eventually maturing and flying forth to attack players who come~~ before hatching into ~~its range.~~ ~~Nothing is known of the size of the Pit Flyer or the Spawner, how fast new Pit Flyers are created, if the Spawner itself must be destroyed, etc~~their mature form.
