The Summoner is a quest boss; he must be killed to finish {{iw|Quests_Act_Two#Quest_Five:_The_Summoner the fifth quest}} in Act Two of Diablo II, and killing him is required to open a portal to the [[Canyon of the Magi]] and to learn which of the seven tombs of Tal Rasha is the true tomb.
