The Mystic is one of the three [[Artisans]] introduced in Diablo III. Like the [[Blacksmith]] and the [[Jeweler]], the Mystic is located in the [[Caravan]] area, and handles various [[NPC]] merchant chores, including item sales and [[crafting]] requests.
All of the Artisans will be heavily involved in quests and the game's plot, even after the player completes the initial quests to get them to join up with his adventuring efforts.
==Mystic Functions==
The mystic handles various item-related functions, such as enhancements and crafting recipes related to jewelry and runestones. Few details have yet been revealed.
==The Mystic's Story==
Very little is yet known of the Mystic's character. Not even the character's name.
There was immediate speculation that [[Adria]], largely-confirmed as a returning character, would be the Mystic, but this has not been confirmed. In fact, it seems to be argued against by a reference to the Mystic as a "he" in one German report from Gamescom. It's possible this was a transcription error, or a misheard gender reference, though.
