==Background==The mercenaries escorted [[Quov Tsin]] the vizjerei [[Vizjerei]] in his quest to find the fabled lost city of [[Ureh ]] in '''Mountain''' [[Mount Nymyr]].

Jodas was one of the mercenaries, along with [[Gorst]], [[Brek ]] and [[Orlif ]] to accompany '''Captain''' [[Kentril Dumon]] to climb to the top of Nymyr in search of the missing [[The Key to Light]] and to place it back at the top. Lord [[Juris Khan]] offered a King's reward to all who helped him place the key there.

Later on, Jodas and Orlif talked to Lord Juris Khan to announce the remaining mercenaries wanted to leave to return back home at [[Westmarch]].

Jodas and the remaining six mercenaries suffered an ill fate. As they reached the gates of Ureh to depart, the illusion of the cheering people of Ureh disappeared and instead hordes of dry husks for bodies with a gaping hole for a mouth surrounded them and stripped their face and body skin with their maws. They died by hungry [[undead|unliving ]] men who ate the mercenaries' flesh.   {{Character navbox|minor}}
