* More than 12,000 tickets sold out in less than an hour when the 2008 convention sales page went live.
* 2009 greatly improved upon this with over 25,000 tickets selling out in just minutes, even when offered in two blocks, weeks apart.

See the [[BlizzCon 2009]] page for more details about the 2009 show, which introduced the [[Monk]] and allowed players to explore portions of the desert-setting of [[Act 2]].
[[BlizzCon 2010]] remains hypothetical, but is widely-expected to occur in late summer of this year.
[[BlizzCon 2010]] is now also announced for October this year, and tickets are sold out.
