I got hit in the back<br>
Speared down in the sands<br>

The wretched javelin<br>
It went through my stomach<br>
Punctured, it did<br>
Moaning and writhing in pain<br>

I laid with bloodshot eyes<br>
Scanning the horizon<br>
I see leapers coming.<br>

Screamed, I did.<br>
I took my life with a knife.<br>
It was time to die<br>
But not by my foes.<br>
