Blizzard's BlizzCon event of 2009 will take took place on the 21st and 22nd of August at the [http://www.anaheimconventioncenter.com Anaheim Convention Center] in Los Angeles. See the main [[BlizzCon]] article for more information about the event in general.  This convention introduced the [[Monk]] character, and the playable build showed off the Act 2 desert areas known as [[The Borderlands]], along with numerous new monsters and character skills.
=Diablo III Playable=
[[Diablo 3]] will be was playable for fans at the show, and it's assumed all three of in addition to the classes already announced ([[wizardWizard]], [[barbarianBarbarian]] and [[witch doctorWitch Doctor]]) will be playable as they were at , the [[BlizzCon 2008Monk]] was announced and also a fourth class which is expectedbecame playable at 12:30pm on Friday, by fans, to be (2.5 hours after the show opened up) once he'd been announcedin the Opening Ceremonies presentation.
Changes to [[skills]] already documented and to the [[interface]] are expected and possibly one or two new tile sets.

==Heroes & Monsters==
Exploring The Heroes and Monsters panel covered the Monk, some recent skill changes to the other three characters, and also spent some time on various aspects of monster development.
