Frenzy in Diablo 3 provides the same basic attack speed bonus from Frenzy in Diablo 2Through an extended life of combat, but that's where the similarities end. Whilst the Diablo 2 Frenzy provided attack speed, movement speed, attack rating, damage and would speed Barbarian learn how to work up other skills, Frenzy in Diablo 3 is a passive, and provides state of frenzy when a simple attack speed stackable buffbattle is going his way.

Frenzy is a passive, it skill that becomes activated from the moment you spend a skill point into it. The chance to activate the attack speed increase with a successful hit is 100% (assumed), Players and players who want their barbarians Barbarians to be faster than they already are, with 'any' weapon, will certainly enjoy this skill.
==Development==
The first version of the Diablo III skill was also active, and increased weapon damage by 120% and attack speed by 6%, stackable three times.
The [[BlizzCon 2009]] build changed it into a passive skill that built up as the Barbarian landed successful hits on his opponents. It provides a simple attack speed stackable buff.
