Hey Leord, I say on the Abd Al-Hazir article that you have "the meaning of "Abd" is literary "Worshipper of God" or "Worshipper" in Arabic, and "al-Hazir" mean "The Warner"."
I'm hesitant to change the article because I am by no means an expert in Arabic. I was just wondering where your translation came from.

:Hello SneakyArab. I got my translation from a colleague, who was kind enough to translate it for me. I asked him about this, and he said this:
:''that is correct''
:''Abd means worshiper of''
:''slave and servant could use abd, but it translates to worshipper directly''
:''servant is khaddam, not abd''
He's kind of journalist and stuff, so I'd let his word stand unless you got support from some more arab-speaking people, or textual references :) --[[User:Leord|Leord]] 15:36, 6 July 2009 (CEST)
