Pylons were introduced to Diablo 3 in the Reaper of Souls expansion. They can appear in Nephalem Rifts in Adventure Mode. As with Shrines their appearance is random and can possess one of a few bonuses applied to all party members within the vicinity of the player who clicks the Pylon.
