→‎Death's Breath

[[Deaths Breath]] are required for most crafting, enchanting, and [[Kanai's Cube]] recipes. They became a much more valuable commodity in Patch 2.3, when the number of DBs was increased for most recipes, and Kanai's Cube was added to the game.

~~Death's Breath~~ Blizzard provided the drop ~~odds from elites, treasure goblins, and golden chests:~~* Torment 1-5: 10-60% * Torment 6: 75%* Torment 7: 90%* Torment 8: 100% and 5% chance rates for Deaths Breaths when complaints about their infrequency were voiced shortly after the launch of Reaper of Souls. These are the chances for a ~~second~~ DB.* Torment 9: 100% and 10% chance of to drop from any valid source; opening a ~~second DB.~~* Torment 10: 100% and 20% chance golden chest, killing an [[Elite]] monster (yellow or blue), or killing most types of ~~a second DB~~[[Treasure Goblin]].

Patch 2.(Reaper of Souls only) 3 added four higher levels of Torment, with increased DB drop rates. (Figures are approximate, pending Blizzard releasing official data.)

* [[Torment IX]] – 100%, 15% chance of a 2nd DB.
