The Grotesque was first seen in the [[WWI 2008]] [[gameplay video]], and when found in the [[Forgotten Tombs]], he had significantly less health than in later gameplay videos as well as the [[BlizzCon 2008]] demo. This is not spectacular though, as it seems that video had all mob's health turned way down to show the strength of the [[Barbarian]].
In an interview with [[Anthony Rivero]][http://www.diii.net/blog/comments/blizzcast-6-diablo-iii-qa/], the designer of the Grotesque, he mentioned the "Corpulent" as the name for this monster. It could be the monster "family" name, or possibly just an alternative name.
