The base skill and two three of the rune effects were buffed in the [[v1.0.4 patch]], in an attempt to make the skill Bash a better alternative to the very popular [[Frenzy]].[http://diablo.incgamers.com/blog/comments/official-patch-1-0-4-notes/] Many players felt these improvements did not go far enough, and continued to use Frenzy or the upgraded [[Cleave]].
* Fury generated increased from 6 to 8
** Weapon damage increased from 150% to 165%
