My friend found the recipe/plan in Leoric's Manor from a random rare, which proved the information here a bit off.

==Staff of Herding==

This is a crafted item that you must find the recipe to. It is a random drop from defeating [[Izual]] in Act IV. There is supposedly also a minor chance of it dropping from random rares, but it has not be tested thoroughly yet.

The staff requires 5 reagents and 50,000 gold to craft. (This does not include the cost of the 4th item)
