~~Fighting with abandon~~The Barbarian sees opportunities where others do not, ~~the Barbarian knows how to swing his weapons to slash more than one opponent at the time~~occasionally striking multiple enemies when such a chance occurs.

It is unknown how much damage Slashing Strike actually does. It may be a percentage of weapon damage or a preset amount. It may be hard to see if Slashing Strike activated ([[proc]]ed), so a visual indicator may be required.

==Development==

Skill was first seen in the [[BlizzCon 2008]] demo, and is one of very few skills that has not changed at all in the demo at [[BlizzCon 2009]]. Not even percentages.
