A Quick Study is an achievement that calls for you to collect 42 journals, scrolls and diaries of NPCs past and present. They are all located within Act I. Although there is no reward for completing the collection the achievement is necessary in order to complete the Grand Lorekeeper of Sanctuary achievement.
