The Barbarian enters a reckless rage, granting him the strength to use his abilities earlier than enemies anticipate and making him more furious as the fight progresses. This reckless state takes a toll on him, as he is completely oblivious to his own safety.

Skill Design[edit | edit source]

This Skill is pure gold, allowing Battlemaster Barbarians to start almost every fight with at least 1 fury orb, causing the fight end before it starts, and if they survive the initial skill, then the increase in fury gain will make casting other skills a breeze. It is on a 30 second cooldown, but is completely fury free, probably being the only Fury free skill for the Barbarian (assumed).

It is highly recommended that Barbarians of all builds should consider spending 5 points into it. However, the 25% increase in damage taken can become a problem, and may even result in unexpected deaths, so watch your health.

Development[edit | edit source]

Enrage was first seen in the BlizzCon 2008 demo, but was changed drastically and moved, judging from the demo seen at BlizzCon 2009. The old Enrage was in tier I and gave 100% damage increase and a 30% critical damage increase for 15 seconds at rank one.
