Rockworms are large wormlike monsters that are found in Act Two of Diablo in underground settings. The may also be found in the Borderlands regions outside Caledeum

Rockworm Abilities
Rockworms are known to burst out of the ground explosively and swallow adventurers whole, doing a large amount of damage. This looks like bad news for ranged fighters.
First Seen
The Rockworm was first seen officially on the The Diablo 3 game panel discussion around the 10:22 minute mark. At one point it swallows and spits out the barbarian fighting it!
