Most Item Sets in Diablo 3 have "legacy" versions that existed prior to patch v1All legendaries, including set items, found before [[Patch 1.0.034]] buffed them, when Legendary are [[legacy]] items were buffed. These early item sets featured different names and older legendary items have generally much lower statsthan the current versions, and Legacy set items have different names than the sets will not generate partial set bonuses if mixed and matchedcurrent versions, to avoid confusion.
