Weapon Throw is a Tactics Barbarian skill unlocked at Level 14. The Barbarian hurls a weapon, damaging dealing considerable damage and other effects upon the target . This skill does not actually disarm the Barbarian, and slowing its speedno matter what sort of weapon he is using this skill always throws an axe. This can be used to hurl an unlimited number of axes, much as the Demon Hunter can throw daggers or Grenades.

Skill Design
This skillgrants the Barbarian an effective ranged attack, without runeswhich is essential to deal with some ranged attackers, causes the barbarian especially those that are evasive or dangerous to throw ethereal-looking weapons of various types at the targeted enemy, causing damage and slowing themapproach directly. The weapons seem to be selected randomly damage from the thrown weapon is generally quite high, but comes at a pool of possibilitiesconsiderable cost to Fury.
Development
Weapon Throw was first seen at 2009 where , but it was a Tier IV skill in the Battlemaster Skill Treenot tested at that time. Flux had this to say about it: <blockquote>I haven’t used it, but one assumes it’s a sort of magical skill, where the melee weapon is not actually discarded, but only projected as a sort of virtual ranged weapon, while remaining in the Barbarian’s hands for additional use. Handy to whip this out once in a while to deal with a pesky ranged attacker, or something with wings?</blockquote>
At 2010, after skill trees were removed, Weapon Throw had been moved up to Tier 2, but seemed otherwise unchanged. Although it was available in the demo, there are no gameplay reports detailing any usage of this skill.
Skill tiers were removed for the July 2011 Press Event, allowing skills to unlock steadily from levels 1 to 30. Consequently, all skill levels were adjusted and Weapon Throw became a level 7 skill.

Beta
Weapon Throw remained at level 7 when the beta started. With the Patch 13 changes, it was classified as a Tactics skill and moved to level 15, putting it out of reach for the remainder of the beta. For the Beta Patch 14, it was dropped to level 14.

For a time during the beta the damage from this skill was very high, and well-geared Barbarians were able to kill the Skeleton King in a single toss. The skill was balanced between that time and the final game, though it remains quite a powerful attack.
