Cultists DO have an attack of their own, being able to cast a Fireball-type spell. This has been said on the Dark Cultist page and can be seen at 3:18-3:25 and 4:02-4:05 in the orignal gameplay video.
These odd, half-skeletal creatures are summoned from raw, red manhole-like openings in the ground by [[Dark Cultist]]s. They are quadrupedal, and look a bit like a dog crossed with a crocodile, then turned inside out. They are quick of foot, but appear to possess only melee attacks.
Dark Cultists don't seem to do have any attacks an attack of their own, so far they've only been seen summoning Demons to fight for them. If though whether they can summon creatures more fearsome than these guys is not known.
