'''Firebats''' is a Tier IV [[skill]] in of the [[Witch Doctor]]'s [[Voodoo Skill Tree]]. It casts forth a spray of flaming bats, which spews firebats, dealing massive deal substantial fire damage to enemies in front of youthe vicinity. 

This skill works much like the Sorceress' is a sort of [[Inferno or the Druid's Arctic Blast]], spewing the dealing fire/ice damage to anything in front of the direction of your mouse cursor until your [[mana]] runs outWitch Doctor for as long as he keeps casting the spell. The mana cost on this skill is quite highIt takes a moment to start producing damage, and is practically unusable if you get requires the Witch Doctor to remain stationary while he casts it at lower levels. Hopefully, it  There is a steady mana drain while the spell is not final and will be balancedin use.

It has stayed pretty much was originally located in the same until [[BlizzCon 2009Spirit Skill Tree]], except for the fact that it used then moved to be in the [[Spirit Voodoo Skill Tree]] . Skill trees were removed beforeBlizcon 2010. The skill's damage and range was lowered with the introduction of Runestones; unmodified Firebats were much less effective in the 2010 Blizzcon build than they had been back in 2008.
